Bishop Eric Vawter Menees Visits Our University College to Strengthen Collaboration

Our University College recently had the honor of hosting Bishop Eric Vawter Menees of the Anglican Diocese of San Joaquin the Anglican Church in North America in California, who paid a pastoral and collaborative visit aimed at reinforcing the partnership between the church and the institution.

During his visit, Bishop Menees commended the University College for its commitment to academic excellence and moral formation, highlighting its Christian foundation as a strong pillar for nurturing future leaders. He encouraged staff to embrace discipline, teamwork, and integrity as guiding principles in both academic and spiritual growth.

The Bishop also held discussions with the university leadership on strengthening collaboration, particularly in areas of community engagement, pastoral care, and advancing quality education. He noted that when institutions of higher learning and the church work hand in hand, they create a holistic environment that shapes not only intellectual ability but also character.

In his closing remarks, Bishop Menees pledged continuous support and prayers for the University College, urging everyone to remain steadfast in their faith and dedicated to their academic journey.

The visit was a moment of inspiration and renewal, leaving staff motivated to carry forward the vision of the institution with renewed energy and stronger partnerships.
